Frequently Asked Questions

A quick snapshot of the questions drivers ask us the most.

In order to book a vehicle from our company you are required to have a valid driving licence and a VALID CREDIT CARD. If you are an international tourist you might need to have international driving permit aswell, depending by your country of origin. We reccomend you to search further informations on google about this matter.
This might look like a dumb question to many, but it's a tually a very important one. In our experience we noticed that most people do not know the difference between credit, debit and prepaid cards. Here is a brief explanation of how a credit card works: You pay with the card, but it's actually the bank that pays the shopkeeper. In practice: If you buy something today with your credit card, your money won't be taken away immediately, but you pay the bank later (e.g. at the end of the month). Difference with other cards: Debit card: The money is taken out of the account immediately Prepaid card: you can only spend the money you have loaded on it. IN ORDER TO RENT A VEHICLE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE ONE CREDIT CARD.
Recognizing a card is very simple. Above your card there is a writing, which indicates the type of card you have: DEBIT = debit card, CREDIT = credit card, PREPAID = Prepaid card. Sometimes this writing is very small and camouflages well, pay attention. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to contact us!
If you don't have a credit card, we might not rent you the car. Before booking on the website, if you are uncertain, I recommend you contact our staff and explain your situation. It is mandatory to have a credit card to rent the car. Please be very careful because if you come to us with another type of card we may not honor the booking and you will not be granted a refund. For any doubts contact us!
We carefully evaluate and select whether to accept. Every situation is different, therefore before making any booking we recommend you to contact our office. Many times we accept debit cards and rent our vehicles, but you will be required to take maximum insurance coverage, and a guarantee deposit will be made on that debit card.
